So, what was the final straw? What, in the en, resulted in the disabling of Proud AFL Union Girl's account? Conjecture is also welcomeif people don't know or are bound by secrecy!
I have no idea, but my guess is that she was just way too annoying and someone finally got sick of her enough to disable her account. Actually, until reading your post, I didn't know her account had been disabled because I rarely read any of her board posts so never saw notice that her account was disabled.
I've been wondering this as well. To my knowledge, she never flouted the TOS, she was just a pain in the ass. Lol. Idk, there's probably more to this story than we know.
I thought I read somewhere that she was banned for multiple accounts?
I'd be interested to know. I talked to her in private notes on occasion. She has radical thoughts and was really annoying and insulting to a lot of people on here, but I am curious about the straw that may have broken the proverbial camel's back.
She did indeed have multiple accounts. If you look up SavannaPhilHarmonicGirl. Or something along the lines of that, you'll see almost the same profile presented in the union girl's profile. That's all she is band for.

After reading a few of her posts, I'd gotten the impression her account was a multiple because I knew I'd seen her posting style before. But I couldn't figure out who she might be.

Ahaaaaaaa. now that makes sense to me. I knew I'd seen her writing style too, like last... no 2 years ago, there was a discussion of nfb convention and she was ranting and raving all over the place about it. Great, I just outed myself as a board stalker. I came back last year to this sight, but I sorta had been stalking the boards before then, since you can access them without an account and I couldn't remember my password, so that's how I looked on boards and stuff. Lol.
I didn't think she'd gotten too annoying. After all, there have been a handful of annoying and downright abusive users over the years, and until they actually break the law they tend to stick. I doubted she was going to get the axe for being radical, pushy, insulting or anything like that. Yeah, ultiple accounts.
Speaking of, what is the point of multiple accounts anyway? I don't understand why it's a big deal, but more than that, I also don't understand why you'd want to bother. You don't really get anything out of it unless you maybe want to circumvent ignore features and harass people, or if you want to post on boards without people immediately knowing it's you. Even then, you're probably going to out yourself before long.
I don't know how you didn't find her that annoying. She reminded me of one of those religious people who comes up to you on the street, and won't leave you alone until they spread the word of God and talked about how Jesus Christ is your savior. It was a close match between her and the stupid annoyance of the queen of the decade, unknown entity.
My point is, I've seen more damaging things on these boards. I'm not saying she wasn't annoying, only that certain other things I've seen, in great part on behalf of others ironically enough, have upset me far more than she has.
I found her fun. You all have no sense of fun.

As for recognizing her posting style under other user names, I never would have recognized her style because I couldn't stand reading her posts so stopped doing so after the first couple.
If you have multiple accounts you can send yourself points and send love messages to yourself... schizophrenia runs rampid.

I found her posts amusing because of the shit storm that usually followed.
Ok, ok, I'll admit it. I liked watching her get put in her place too. Yeah yeah, real mature, I know. This place is where I come to do that though. lol
Plenty of accounts get disabled throughout the year, along with multiple bannings, and no one ever knows why. Perhaps a board topic ought to be created where the CLs and others can briefly explain the reason so and so was banned. Sort of like a Hall of Shame.
Anyone who is interested in why a person they had been chatting with is no longer allowed on the site could find answers.
Thus topics such as this one would be unnecessary.

I meant a topic on one of the boards, like Let's Talk, not an entire board category dedicated to such cases.
Why do those who make multiple accounts always think they will get away with it? I mean we can all think of many, many who were banned for doing it. So, why do those who continue to do it think they are different? Sheesh!
